  • "ICC and EBRD started joint projects to train trade finance professionals back in 2010. This extremely successful partnership has been established to identify and support the future generation of experts in the trade finance industry. ICC supports EBRD's education program because we believe it is the ideal platform to introduce junior talents towards the common work of the international trade community. ICC invites every year one winning student to participate in our technical meeting and to gain access to a wealth of subject-matter expertise from more than 600 members in over 100 countries."

EBRD e-Learning Programme

Education is a liberating force, and in our age it is also a democratizing force, cutting across the barriers of caste and class, smoothing out inequalities imposed by birth and other circumstances.

- Indira Gandhi

The Trade Finance e-Learning Programme, jointly launched by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the International chamber of Commerce (ICC) in May 2010, aims to help issuing banks involved in the EBRD's Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) to attain best international practice in trade finance, through building a firm understanding of ICC trade rules and achievement of academic excellence.

The e-Learning Programme content covers all of ICC trade and Incoterms® rules and is written by the world's leading experts in trade finance.

The Trade Finance e-Learning Programme is generously supported by the EBRD Shareholder Special Fund and the EU Neighbourhood Investment Facility.
