EBRD e-Learning Programme

The objective of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) e-Learning Programme is to help issuing banks involved in the EBRD’s Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) meet best international practice in trade finance.

To achieve this goal, the EBRD has worked with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and technology partner, Coastline Solutions, to offer world-leading online training in traditional trade products.

The training ensures that trade finance professionals have the requisite skills to issue, process and honour trade products in line with the provisions of the ICC Trade Rules, and includes online training on Collections (URC 522), Documentary Credits (UCP 600), Standby LCs (ISP98), Demand Guarantees (URDG 758) and Incoterms rules (Incoterms®2010). The EBRD has now also developed online training in the environmental and social issues that impact on international trade operations.
